Well, I have now migrated over to www.peterdishman.net, so you will have to go there to read my blogs, as this one will likely be archived into another one and discontinued! At the new site, you have three choices of blogs, so enjoy!
All right, all right all you gauntlet throwers! I am reentering the bloggy field in order to post a scintillating snipped and to move myself from the blacklist of bloggers to at least the brownlist.
Shall I say something substantive? Nay, but I will offer a few words on last week's biking experience. Paul Emerson and I did the Mesquite Rodeo Ride, a 60 miler of mild ups and downs which began in the mists and ended in bright sky and baking blacktop. It was a good ride, exceedingly well organized: there was a nice shirt, a nice ticket to the Mesquite Rodeo, some nice goodies, and a nice meal provided by the Outback Chickenhouse at the end (their shirts said Outback Steakhouse, but ironically they served chicken to the sweat streaked competitors after their long ride). As one might expect, Paul was barely winded by said ride, but Peter was quite winded, and for the remainder of the day was largely ineffective. And what did that exhausting experience teach him? Yes, that's right - that he needs ANOTHER bike ride THIS SATURDAY that goes for ONE HUNDRED MILES! So you can see, the learning process is really happening with both high velocity and high quality right about now.
Well, I'm back in Texas as of a little over a week, and have crashed the parental abode. Although I will be returning to St. Louis for graduation and have various trips to Atlanta planned for Mission to the World/Reformed University Fellowship training events, Richardson will be home base until I drive the 1100 miles south to Mexico City. Hopefully that time will be sooner, rather than later, but that will all depend on how quickly the support/training/ordination process progresses. Any help appreciated. :)
Well, at long last we have arrived with MoveableType, so let the blogging continue!
